A beggarly woman who came often for assistance surprised me one day. I had told her begging wasn't going to help much. Besides, there were kids to feed as well as send to school. So, I gave her some yam seeds, and a little money.
After harvest, she brought these three tubers of yam to me in gratitude. Crying, she said to me, "you made me rich. I have yam in my house, I have cassava, and I made lots of money from the vegetables."
This, is a story of love.
